The deal in context
Public contract terms and salary estimates, with separate source dates.
Estimated annual salary
$30mUSD per yearMedia estimate published on 4 February 2026, in USD per year for the 2026 season. Excludes team bonuses, performance bonuses and personal sponsorships. Not an official salary disclosure; later contract changes are not reflected in this dated estimate.
At least through 2030
- Confirmed at least through
- 2030
- Announcement / source date
- 29 Aug 2026
McLaren confirms coverage through at least 2030 and explicitly announces a multi-year option to continue afterwards. The additional option length is not specified.
Keep estimates in context. Salary figures are media estimates, not verified payroll or transfer valuations. A later contract announcement does not confirm an updated salary. A confirmed season is a minimum commitment, not necessarily the contract’s final year. Undisclosed terms remain undisclosed.

How to read this dossier
Profile statistics, historical results and simulation reports serve different purposes and can use different cutoffs. The research forecasts retain their own assumptions and dates. No missing statistic, private salary or undisclosed contract term has been filled with an invented value.
Career points span different points systems. Grand Prix wins and podiums exclude Sprint results. Race-log weekend points include Grand Prix and Sprint points. Entries and recorded race results can have different scopes; missing events are not zero-point results.
Current-season rows are provisional. Salary figures are dated media estimates, and a confirmed contract season is a minimum commitment rather than a guaranteed end date.
Snapshot & reconciliation notes4
